AS PART OF THE WELLCOME COLLECTION’S NEW PERMANENT EXHIBITION ‘BEING HUMAN’, ARTIST AND FOOD HISTORIAN TASHA MARKS (AND I’M TOTALLY TAKING THIS AS EXCUSE TO WATCH HER QUEER COOKING SERIES AGAIN) IS WORKING WITH SCULPTOR ROBERT ERSKINE TO CREATE A BRONZE ARTWORK THAT SMELLS LIKE BREAST MILK - VIA CREATIVE REVIEW ON LINKEDIN.

AND -

IT’S NICE THAT HAVE COMMISSIONED THE SUPER TALENTED NICOLE GINELLI TO INTERPRET THE ICONIC WORKS OF FEMALE ART POWERHOUSES GEORGIA O’KEEFE, SUZAN PITT, MARTHA ROSLER, LISA FRANK AND THE UTTERLY PHENOMENAL YAYOI KUSAMA AS PART OF THEIR ‘FOUND IN ADOBE STOCK’ SERIES INVITING NEW CREATIVE TALENT TO DRAW INSPIRATION FROM SOME OF THE LIBRARY’S MOST ICONIC VISUALS TO REIMAGINE THEM IN ORIGINAL ARTISTIC WORLDS) AND THE RESULT IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I MEAN LOOK AT IT - VIA SOPHUCKINGGOOD (IT BACK!).
